The Rage Room-York offers a large number of activities and ways to customize them. Pre-made software scheduling packages don’t like that. So please read on to learn about our different offerings and make booking an appointment less stressful.

After you book, check your email for a confirmation.
Use the confirmation email to add items, add people, reschedule, or make other changes.

QTY=1

The first problem most people encounter when trying to schedule is that they assume QTY is the number of people. It is not. QTY in this case refers to the number of activities that can happen simultaneously.
If your group is coming to rage, you are coming together and doing ONE event. QTY=1.
If you are coming to a birthday party, with raging and painting and time in the party room, you are coming to ONE party. QTY=1.

The only time QTY = 2 is if you are booking an appointment for 2 people who each need their private space to rage in. This is very uncommon. And the limits of our space mean that any QTY over 2 will automatically be rejected. We have 3 rooms, but one is significantly smaller than the two we use most often and cannot accommodate all that the other two rooms can. So we don’t include it in the booking software and use it for special situations only.

What are the options? What should I book?

The Categories:

Same Day Rage: Choose this option to rage the same day you book the appointment. Each person gets 10 items for $30. If you want more items, input for more people. Then let us know that it’s all for you. As long as time permits, you may add more items when you arrive.

A Smashing with a group (2-5 people): Choose this option to smash 10 or 25 items per person. The items are dishes, tile, vinyl records, glass bottles, or knickknacks. We pick these items for you based on our available inventory. Pick something else to smash electronics.

B Smashing Packages for one or more: We’re in the process of phasing out this option, but it is very popular. Choose this option to pick 10, 25, or 50 items. The 10 item package cannot be split with another person. The 25 and 50 item packages may be split among multiple people. The total number of items on the table to be smashed is the number of items indicated by the package. If you want that many items PER PERSON, you want category A instead.

C Smashing A La Carte: Choose from this category for electronics, large items, and packages to split with your group. Also choose this option if you intend to Bring Your Own Breakables.

D Smashing Set Scene or Large Item: Choose this option if you want your items set up like a scene or you want to destroy a large item (a piece of furniture, a pallet, a windshield).

E) Painting: Choose this option to Splatter Paint. While you cannot break stuff and paint stuff at The Rage Room-York at the same time, you can do one right after the other. Book the breaking stuff first, as that books up first. Then schedule another appointment to paint. If you can’t figure that out, make a note in your booking questionnaire that you want to add splatter paint, and we can add that to your appointment and send you an invoice.

F Party Packages, Events, Classes: You can book birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, divorce parties, post-court parties, graduation parties, team-building events, fundraisers, petition signings, classes, and other events using this category. If you have

G) Large Groups or Corporate Events: Choose this category for B2B events, team-building, large groups that are only doing a breaking event (rather than an entire party)
